Domenic Dugas

With much gratitude in our hearts, we would like to announce that Sloane’s Roses was able to help our first recipients, the family of Domenic Dugas. On July 1, 2024, Domenic lost his life tragically at the age of 17, just weeks after his graduation from Wissahickon High School. Our deepest sympathies are with his family and friends as they begin their healing journeys.

To date, we have been able to finance some of the Dom’s final expenses, and we will continue to work with his family to help as other expenses may arise. We are proud that our organization reached this milestone less than a year since Sloane’s passing. We are also grateful for the overwhelming support from our community, which has and will continue to enable us to help those who need it. We believe that is a true testament to how infectious Sloane’s light, love and joy were in this world.
